Don’t waste your time and bandwidth by downloading spam and virusen to your inbox! With POP3 Preview you can check your E-Mail on the mail (POP3) server without the need to download the whole message. Based on the information in the header of the message (like Subject or Sender) you can decide if you want to keep the message or delete it from the server. POP3 Preview also includes a SPAM filter, that can filter messages based on the subject or sender. Messages that match the criteria will automatically be selected when you check for new e-mail. All you have to do is simply press’ Purge’ and the Junk E-mails are deleted from the server!

EmC (Email Control) - Spam Tools

EmC (Email Control) is an anti-spam tool that allows you to reduce the number of junk mails arriving in your inbox. The program works with a combination of filters, that can be customized by the user and checks the mail while it is still on your ISPs server. Based on your filter criteria, it will process the mail and optionally delete all Spam or mark it for deletion. EmC also works as an email checker, allowing you to view messages on the server, before doing any delete actions. In addition, you can check your mail for any script based viruses or other hazards before doewnloading it to your computer. New filters can be easily added and the programs comes equipped with a large list of presets include "Find sender owner domain" in the registration domain database.
Note :- The EmC may not be executed if any email program is in execution. The EmC is an independent program that must be executed before the execution of any email program. The objective is that you execute the EmC, delete the unsolicited messages and thereafter execute your email program receiving only the messages that had remained in the account.

SpamPal - Spam Tools

SpamPal sits between your email program and your mailbox, checking your email as you retrieve it. Any email messages that SpamPal considers to be spam will be "tagged" with a special header; you simply configure your email client to filter anything with this header into a separate folder and your spam won't be mixed up with the rest of your email anymore! But how does SpamPal know what is spam and what isn't? Well, it uses what are called DNSBL lists. Patterned after the famous MAPS RBL, these are lists of parts of the Internet that in one way or another facilitate spam. Any email you get from a machine on one of these lists has an increased probability of being spam. Some ISPs already block all email from machines on some of these DNSBL lists, but many do not. This is where SpamPal comes in. You can choose to use any or all of the freely-usable DNSBL lists; SpamPal will look at the machines each email message passed through on its way to your mailbox, and if any of those machines is on one of the DNSBL lists you have chosen then that message will be tagged as spam. Because not everyone who uses a machine on a DNSBL list will be a spammer, SpamPal has a powerful whitelisting feature that allows you to ignore DNSBL listings for certain senders or for parts of the Internet.

K9 is an email filtering application that works in conjunction with your regular POP3 email program and automatically classifies incoming emails as spam (junk email) or non-spam without the need for maintaining dozens of rules or constant updates to be downloaded. It uses intelligent statistical analysis that can result in extremely high accuracy over time. K9 learns from its mistakes and becomes better and better at being able to identify spam. Sam Spade - Spam Tools

Sam Spade is a network-query tool that can help you locate bulk mailers. Many server-finding tools, such as nslookup, whois, and traceroute, have been previously available, but only for command line use. Sam Spade lets you use these tools from a graphical interface, and information found with one tool can be queried using another. It's SMTP Verify tool helps you check on the validity of an e-mail address, which is a good way of finding out if mail is being sent from that address or forwarded from another address to cover the spammer's tracks. Another useful feature is sending HTTP packets to your ISP's Web server every minute or so, to keep a dial-up link active. There is also an included Web browser.
