Alert Monitor - Web Server Tools

The monitor system enables you to keep a watch on your servers and be alerted if a problem arises. You can define calendars, set alert thresholds and define email templates all within the montor system. Monitor consists of a Windows NT Client and Server agents for Linux, NT, DEC OSF, SUN Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX and UNISYS NX. You can define alerts for filesystems (alert when they reach a certain capacity) or on the number or composition of the process mix. For example, alert if there are less than 6 processes with the name “tte1.exe” currently active in the server. The automated ping allows you to ping any TCP/IP capable server on a schedule and raise alerts when they fail. When the Monitor Client detects an alert condition, it will send you an email (which you have defined) together with specific details of the alert condition. Comprehensive logs are kept of all the monitoring activities A number of SAP alertable conditions have been included in this release together with the ability to imbed an alert agent in a UNIX or NT script so that you can generate alerts on virtually any system event.

Multi Ping - Web Server Tools

This utility allows you to ping multiple targets at the same time. I created this tool to check several network connections and see which one the (in this case) servers were down. Multi Ping logs the results to a log file. Each ping command is executed in a separate thread. The application uses ICMP.DLL to send ping commands to the target.

EyeOnSite is a tool that keeps an eye on your sites or servers to see if they are accessible on the net. The services that can be monitored are http, ftp, smtp and pop3. When a service goes down, you can choose to be alerted with a visual message or an audible alarm. In addition, you can launch an application which can be used to correct the situation or send a message to someone. All error events are logged in individual log files and stats generated for each service. The status window shows the current state of all monitored services.

UpdateIP - Web Server Tools

If you want to setup your own personal Web or FTP server, but your ISP allocates a new IP address every time you connect, then this is the utility for you! UpdateIP automatically updates your web pages with your current IP address, so you don't have to change them manually. And visitors of you web site always have your latest IP address. Just create an HTML template (with a link to your server) and UpdateIP will implant your current IP address and upload the file to your website. You can configure multiple HTML pages and upload them to different servers. UpdateIP can be configured to run only once at the computer startup or continuously scan for changes of your IP address. UpdateIP scans the list of IP addresses on your system and tries to determine which address is most likely the internet IP address. Then it walks through the list of configured web sites and searches the specified HTML pages for one of the following tags:
--IP-- will be replaced by your current IP address.
--TIME-- will be replaced by the current time.
--DATE-- will be replaced by the current date.
After that it will upload the file to your website.

Enhanced Ping - Web Server Tools

Enhanced Ping is a small Windows program that allows you to ping multiple hosts (upto a maximum of five) simultaneously and compare the results in a tabular format or on a graph. It also includes a 'whois' client that can use different whois servers to obtain domain registration details. The program is a single executable and requires no separate run time libraries or DLLs. EPing has a tray button that allows you to minimize the program into the Windows tray. (EPing is not a tray based application, minimizing to tray is an available option).

Pinger - Web Server Tools

This utility makes it easy to check your internet connection or whether a remote computer is active without opening a browser. It sends out a packet of data which is echoed back. Shows round trip ping times and time averages, traces a ping's IP address route, shows the local machine's IP configuration and more.
