FS ZIP Extractor - ZIP

FS ZIP Extractor is a freeware .zip self-extractor stub that allows you to create self-extracting .zip archives that are run as an executable .exe file. FS ZIP Extractor is used to turn a .zip file into an executable .exe so the zip can then be unzipped without having any unZIP software installed on that computer. For example, say you have a .zip archive of some files you need to share with a friend. But you are not sure if your friend has any 'unzip software' installed on their computer? By turning the .zip into a self-extracting .zip, your friend can unzip the file(s) by simply clicking on the .exe. Your friend would not need any an unzip software installed on their computer.

ZipInstaller - ZIP

The ZipInstaller utility installs and uninstalls applications and utilities that do not provide an internal installation program. It automatically extracts all files from the Zip file, copies them to the destination folder you select, creates shortcuts in the start menu and in your desktop, and adds an uninstall module to allow you to automatically remove the software in the future. This utility is a small standalone executable. You don't have to install it, and it doesn't require any additional DLLs. Simply run the executable (zipinst.exe) and start using it.
Note: Under Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, you can use the ZipInstaller utility only if you are logged on with administrator privileges. Otherwise, the install/uninstall process will fail.

WinGZip - ZIP

WinGZip is a small freeware utility for working with files produced by the gzip utility (usually it's files with .gz or .tgz extension) and can also create such files. Main features include the compressing, decompressing and testing the integrity of gzip files. The gzip (GNU zip) is a command line driven compression utility with excellent compression, free from patented algorithms and currently very popular on the Internet. gzip is not an archiving utility, i.e. it can't roll up several files together. It simply compresses the specified file.

QuickZip - ZIP

Zip and unzip compressed archives with QuickZip. Here are some of its many features:
- Built-in support for 19 types (or 33 extensions) of archives and encoding formats. - Provides full integration to the shell, including archive icons which associate different archives with different icons, context menus, tool tips, drag and drop and cut and paste. - Folder list, which shows the directory structure of files.
